Anand starts the Bundesliga season on a winning note

Viswanathan Anand started his Bundesliga season with a score of 1.5 from two games. Anand is playing his second Bundesliga season this year for his German club team Baden- Oos a joint initiative with Grenke Leasing A.G. In the last season he emerged as the top scorer.

This season has started well for his team. They have won all their matches till date with the teammates turning in a good performance.

This weekend Baden Baden, the picturesque bath town in Germany hosted the home team encounters of Baden Oos .

In the first round on Saturday, the team played TV Tegernsee. Anand drew with the black pieces against Khenkin. The team won with a comfortable margin of one point.

The next day, Baden Oos played SK König Plauen. Anand beat Markowski convincingly with the white pieces. Being the first to chalk a point for his team, his other teammates kept up the pace. The team went on to win with a huge margin of 7 points.

Anand will next play on 13th and 14th of December for his team.
